Wakayama Japan

Between the prefectures of Osaka to the north, those of Nara and Mie to the east and bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the south, Wakayama prefecture is known for its beautiful natural landscapes of mountains and sea. But its charm also lies in its numerous spas, located both in the mountains, on the edge of the sea or the river, the most famous being Shirahama, Mount Koya temples and Kumano sanctuaries. These last two places are classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
